How it works

Turn any selfie or phone photo into an upload-ready passport, visa or ID photo. Pick a preset — 35 × 45 mm (passport and Schengen), 2 × 2 inch, 4 × 6 cm, the US visa DS-160 600 × 600 px photo — or type the exact width, height, DPI and maximum KB the portal asks for. You can swap the background for plain white or light grey using on-device AI.

Free, unlimited and private — your files are processed in your browser and never uploaded.

Frequently asked questions

What size is a passport photo?

Most countries, including the Schengen area, the UK and the GCC, use 35 × 45 mm. The US uses 2 × 2 inch (51 × 51 mm), and the US visa DS-160 form wants a square digital photo of 600 to 1200 pixels under 240 KB. Always check the official portal for your application.

How do I make my photo smaller than the KB limit?

Type the limit in the “Maximum file size (KB)” box before downloading. Picforms adjusts the JPG quality so the file lands under that size while keeping the face sharp.

Can I change the background to white?

Yes. Choose “Plain white” or “Light grey” and the background is removed on your device. The first run takes a little longer while the model loads.

Is my photo uploaded anywhere?

No. The resizer runs entirely in your browser, so your photo never leaves your phone or computer.
